Rather than state that QVC needs to stop selling, maybe buyers who are not happy with their experiences should look elsewhere for what they want or need.  I personally have no issue with shipping and I also understand the need to shop early for what I want.  We are all dealing with extraordinary results of this pandemic so move on to where you will be happier.

I order very little, have never ordered all that much from the Q but in the past year what I have ordered has arrived to me in less than 2 weeks.  I don't order anything i need in a hurry, I am too smart for that.  If I need something in a hurry I order from another online retailer or I bite the bullet and walk into a store.

Maybe just stop buying for awhile to ease your frustration or just shop elsewhere.  QVC is NOT going to stop selling, that is just a totally unrealistic request.

QVC needs to stop selling entire until the horrible shipping backlog is cleared.  I've been waiting two weeks for pants, ordered at the same time as a matching jacket, same order number.  Jacket is here.  Pants are in process to arrive by 9/15.  Uh.....these were ordered nearly two (2) weeks ago and are still sitting somewhere.  Until shipping is caught up and improved, QVC needs to take a two-day no-sell holiday - no TV or online selling.  GIVE US A BREAK!

here's what I suspect is going on. These pants are not just sitting somewhere, they are being shipped from the manufacture (in process) to a distribution center with other goods from this manufacturer, and then when they get to the distribution center your order will be shipped to you.

This is reducing the inventory that the distribution centers have to carry, and what they do have will be moving soon.  I managed a large distribution center and this is exactly how we operated for our own manufacturing plants.

Thanks for being the only sensible reply to my comment.  I have stopped ordering from QVC and am returning the delayed item (IF it arrives).  Perhaps if they also get a few returns marked "arrived too late," and they issue more refunds, the bean counters will wake up.

@13SHOPS - The "only sensible reply"?  Well, that says a lot.  "New" contributor and you're insulting other posters who don't support your view?

Some of us don't think your suggestion that QVC stop selling for days is very sensible.

Enjoy shopping elsewhere.

(BTW:  You didn't tag which poster you thought was "sensible" so it could apply to any of the previous posts.  Just an FYI.)

@13SHOPS - your comment "arrived too late" is not going to do any good. You still are not getting the point of what many other posters tried to explain to you.

Maybe this will clear things up for you - I ordered fabric from one of my manufacturers about 6 or 8 months ago. I'll be lucky if I receive it by the end of the month - but I'm looking at early October.

Everything in shipping is slow. There are employee shortages. Container ships were slowed down. And, if something is shipping directly from the vendor, they are backed up as well.

@Luvsmyfam  I'm not having any problems with shipping from QVC - my packages have all arrived on time if not earlier than anticipated.

I understand the frustration but it's not just QVC. I ordered from Caldrea when my local store stopped selling their brand. Placed the order around Aug 15th, received two of the three items around the end of the month. Nothing has been said about the third item, I've emailed them, emailed PayPal since I was charged at time order was placed. I've heard nothing from Caldrea...NOTHING...and PP says I have to work it out with the vendor. It's only a $22 item but still, I don't really have any extra money to just toss out. Ordered chair cushions from Amazon to freshen up my kitchen chairs two weeks ago and am still waiting on them. I hope your items arrive soon but please don't beat up on QVC, it's all across the board. I will say that everything I've ordered that didn't say advance order has been received in about a week. Try to be patient.

QVC should just be selling what they have readily available to ship from their humongous warehouse.  Still don't understand how any vendor can sell what they don't have on hand and ready to go.
