I just received my Jai leopard ring.  On thin rings I wear a 7, thicker bands a 7 1/2.  I ordered a 8 and it is loose.  While it's hot I can get away with wearing it since the fingers swell.  Once it get cooler it will be to loose.  I really wish QVC would offer half sizes on designer pieces like that.  It is very hard to find a jeweler who will size Sterling silver.  Designer pieces like Jai I would not want to have sized.  Considering the amount of jewelry QVC sells half sizes should not be a problem.

I so agree, @TW, I've been wanting that for a long tiime. I have to buy an 8 when I really need a 7 1/2. I hate it when a ring turns, so I've finally decided to wear only band-style rings.  And if a ring is rhodium plated, my jeweler said it couldn't be sized.

I agree, half sizes would be great, but I don’t think I have ever seen anything but whole sizes in store displays or on TV. I just took 3 sterling rings to my jeweler to be resized. All from QVC. I had them check their sizes and not one of them hit the size 8 line on the ring measure. They all ran small, and If I ordered the 9, they would be too large. At $16 each to resize, I need to add that into the price before deciding if a ring is really a bargain. I had forgotten that the plated rings can’t be sized, so thanks for the reminder.

Sterling rings can be sized?  I always thought for some reason that they couldn't. I haven't ordered rings several times because of this.

@AngelPuppy1 Yes, many silver rings can be resized. I take mine to a local jeweler; there are several in town that will resize silver rings (all local businesses—none of them are chain or mall stores). I have witnessed them say “no” to customers because the heat would damage the ring in some way, so not all can be resized, but the majority can as long as they are not plated. I have done this many times over the years.

I'm in the half-size range myself.

I have been buying all of the "adjustable" rings QVC has in stock.

I hope they continue to make more of this type of ring for those of us who need the "half."

Around here $30.00 is a minimum charge for any ring re-sizing.  I paid $85.00 to go up on a platinum ring.  My solution is that white gunky stuff you can put on the inside of a band.
