I noticed this was suggested back in 2019 for the Q but it works.

I'm part of the Macy's Star Rewards Program.  I just cashed in my $20 and the cashier told me I have another $10 coming.

Now is that incentive to buy more.

I'm not sure the difference in Kohl's Cash since I don't shop there anymore but as far as Macy's, I like I can use it on anything and based on your "status", you also get rewarded with free shipping.

I like Macys Style & Co leggings, not only are they reasonable, they wash and dry without shrinkage and last a long time.  For about $20 or so a pair, a quick $10 or $20 worth of rewards money is nice.

I know many of the Q customers are allegiant so there's not a reason for a rewards program but the people in their 20's and 30's are not and that's the future.

@Mistreatedbycs   What I like about Macy's and Belk's rewards $$ is that it shows up when you are placing you order online and asks if you want ot use it. When checking out in the store it shows up on the keypad . And yes you can use it on anything even name brands that you can not use regular store coupons on. I have always used Kohl's cash and I have never had a problem with using it on anything that they sell. Right now I have $30 in Kohl's cash. But Kohl's cash has a limited time that you can use it before it expires. You are correct it is a great marketing tool to keep you coming back.

@Mistreatedbycs   I am a Macy's Star Rewards member and enjoy it and do so without having their credit card, which I don't want.

I've ordered several things over the last four months or so and love the Star money.  So like being able to reduce the price on an itel of my choice that I really like, plus using Rakuten cash back.

I LOVE Macy's and buy the majority of my clothing there.  Great sales, great incentives.  I guess QVC has enough customers it doesn't feel the need to offer "incentives."
