Please consider not accepting reviews other than the product itself. Not the delivery, wrong color, wrong size, bigger or smaller than expected. Sometimes not even owning the product. That affects the number of stars of a product without good reason. Not fair.

I especially like the one star reviews that say they ordered the product but haven't received it yet???!!!  There should be "moderators" checking the reviews like there are on these forums.

All reviews ARE approved by moderators before posting. There are rules to follow, too.

There is a message stating as much after a review is posted by someone.  "Awaiting moderation."

I agree particularly those that even state they haven't received it ye as though  that is a review of the product itself. But I don't have a problem with pointing out that the garment runs smaller or larger than the stated measurements.

This has been discussed and posted for years but nothing has changed in the way reviews are accepted.

One star because it doesn't come in talls or petites!  Argh!  There are so many other examples of useless reviews and reviews by people who never even purchased.

However,  I do have to take exception with the OP on whether the reviewer feels it is 'bigger or smaller than expected.'

That is exactly what I DO read the reviews for!  I want to know if other purchaser's found it running big or small or IF it is true to size.

Then how do they allow obvious ones about not making the product in so and so color or size? Are the moderators actually reading the reviews? It's maddening seeing reviews that are from people who have not purchased the product or of people who have not received the item. The reviews are not meant to be a place to vent about lost packages, slow shipping etc.

I understand that about clothing sizes, but for instance buying a pan and the size is clearly there and the buyer will complain about it looking larger or smaller in the video or the handles get hot. Use potholders.

I don't think people complaining about them not carrying  a shoe in a wide so and so size is a review and it is not the appropriate place to discuss that. I'm not saying people buy the item and it fits or deosn't those are fine. They actually have not bought the item and they say if you would carry it in so and so size they would buy it.

I agree with OP...it does skew the rating unfairly.

I've occasionally seen, both here and elsewhere, someone who obviously doesn't understand ratings...rate something one star, then go on to rapsodize about how they LOVE the product! ...I guess they think One star connotes #1 rating?

But yes...all the bad reviews for shipping is not an accurate product review and don't belong in the reviews, but instead on the Customer Care thread here.

@frenchie  I always read the reviews before purchasing. I agree there are some that shouldn't be there. That's why even if it only has 3 stars I'll consider buying. I've taken many many items out of my cart after reading the reviews. I wouldn't purchase without doing that first even though some sku the results.
