It's not great, but it's not really "unfair". That is QVC's rule.
You can pay for shipping on your own, instead of using their prepaid label.
Box them up. Take them to USPS, UPS, FedEx, however you like to ship (I use paypal. Weigh my package & pay for it on paypal. Print out a shipping label & send it back.).
It is still expensive to ship back anything with some weight to it, like 4 shirts, but cheaper than $27.80.

PayPal even offers to pay for the return shipping if you used PP to pay for your items. If interested check out: Return Shipping On Us PayPal. Be sure to read about their limitations to the service.

@Maxie1935 WOW that is absolutely awful!!! Even if it is not an unfair practice legally, it is still ridiculous. Another reason to buy from another retailer that's for sure!!!
I make a few purchases from QVC here and there, but stay away from things that might not fit or even have a slight potential for return. I'd rather even pay more somewhere else just to have the right to sensible customer policies, such as free returns, return to store and being able to try an item on at home without knowing i'm out $10 if it doesn't fit or if the style is not right for me.
The Q may be able to keep doing this for now, but eventually it will catch up with them and will hurt their business (I'm sure it has hurt their business to some extent already). Millenials are not looking to pay $10+ to try on a tshirt - we have better things to spend our money on, like student loans!

@Maxie1935 - This subject has been addressed before. (Might have been better posted under the Customer Care forum.)
Moderators in the past have stated that you can return multiple items in the same box (assuming they all go to the same return warehouse - this is shown under the FAQ section) and are only charged ONE return shipping fee. You must include each invoice in the box.
However, you will lose the original S&H for each item. So, whatever you paid for original shipping plus one return label fee of $6.95. I haven't seen anything to indicate that this policy has changed.
If you are certain you were charged four times for the pre-paid return label, email the moderators and ask them to sort it out for you:

@Venezia is correct. The return label fee is determined by weight, not how many items you are returning. As long as they all go to the same return warehouse, you should have only been charged one return label fee. @Maxie1935 please email the social team and ask them for a refund of the excess return shipping you paid.
How much does it cost to use the Q Return Label?
Q Return Label fees are deducted from your refund and are based on the original weight of your item in its original packaging. Q Return Label costs are subject to change at any time, without prior notification. Restrictions and limitations may apply.
0 to 5 lbs: $6.95
5.01 to 10 lbs: $8.95
10.01 to 150 lbs: $10.95

Something is not right. I think Iread here that you can return a few items in one box and would only be charged 6.95.
Maybe it was a dream.

That's very interesting. The first time I had more than one item to return at the same time, I called Customer Service and I was told that I would be charged for one $6.95 return label no matter how many items were in the package. If that's not the case, then QVC better get their CS Reps up to speed because that is, in fact, a fraudulent consumer practice if CS is telling customers something different than the return processors are doing. MODERATOR - please look into this.

I'm right there with you. I won't pay $10-15 just to try on any apparel item....and I'm far from being a millennial; I'm a super senior. After 30 years I still shop at Q but only for items unrelated to sizing and fit.
