Your return shipping is too high. I pay to get it shipped then if I return it I'm out at least $16. This makes shopping with QVC not very appealing!

Postage is expensive no.matter how you do it.  You don't have to use QVC's pre-paid label.  There's also a label for returning it yourself, however, I've found by the time you buy insurance for your package, you don't save any money plus if you use the label, the post office will pick up saving a trip to stand in line.

If you used PayPal to pay for your stuff then PP may refund you the return postage. To find out how that works search PayPal Return Shipping Refund.

I find that when I return a purchase and pay for the return myself the cost is just about the same. I suggest looking for places that do not charge for s&h.

Depending on what you're returning, it can cost more to do it yourself. Shop with care.

@tyted

Q makes big $$$ on these fees ...so it's for me

1) be sure I really need it & can't be found other places, especially shoes, clothing...$11 to try ridiculous...

2) do the s/h fees + return fees = almost as much as the price of the item?  I keep or donate it.

3) Not always cheaper to pay upfront from UPS/USPS for return -I've found Q prepaid label cheaper but takes weeks to be received and credited back.  (worse yet use ez pay it might be .01 credit...been there😡☹️)

I try to shop at retailers that have free shipping and returns. It's one of two reasons I don't buy much from Q.

Retailer return labels are usually parcel post which lack tracking and rely on third parties to move them from place to place. Those third parties don't make trips for every package...they wait until it's profitable. They take 3-4 or more times as long to get to the retailer and are piled in with every other return for processing.  Sending them on my dime sets them apart from others and they're always processed faster.

You would be surprised what I can fit into a flat rate priority envelope with some tape! I pay postage and print the label online, free tracking, and set it out for my mail carrier to pick up.
