Really mad - orders made thru QVC app not processed, and no cust service help

Has anyone else ordered items through the QVC iPad app, only to find out that the orders were not processed? I ordered two pieces of jewelry on California Gold Rush day, including a byzantine ring I badly wanted, but found out today that QVC somehow "lost" the orders.

I've successfully ordered other items via the app, so I'm not sure what happened. I contacted QVC customer support, who did nothing at all (their reaction was basically, "too bad for you"). I'm really upset, because I can't reorder the ring - it's a byzantine, which can't be resized, and the only size still in stock is size 10. And even if I could reorder, I'd have to pay more because the Gold Rush sale price is no longer in effect.

What bugs me most is customer service's unwillingness to help. I feel like they could have at least checked inventory to see if there were any smaller size rings available from orders that were cancelled.

I am sorry that happened to you....how disappointing....
