I'm sure like most people, I do a lot of research before I buy something. And yes the computer has helped in most regards but it has also opened a door that hinders people. Consumer report did a great job when it came out but is now lacking from the on slot of to many items. So we must rely on other people and there in is the problem. Most people can't give a well thought out response. So what I do, and assume others do also is look to the masses. That is why I think you must rethink the review processes. If you look at many of you postings you have a review done by less then 5 people and in many cases 1. You have the same product but with different extras under different reviews. Lets use a vacuum as an example. Don't use the extras to separate same models, but rather compare brands, by what they do or don't do. Also to save your people work and help the consumer more, try setting a quota like say 100 people must review item before you post ratings.
