Re: Questions About the Community?

How do we change the email address we're using for the Forums (not for ordering)?

Thanks

I use IE.  I don't care what I do, this box that I am typing in moves, jumps and bounces while I am typing.  There are lines above here that look like venetian blinds.  Just a bunch of lines, no instructions, no edit, no nothing.  When I am not trying to post, the community menu and my name move all over the screen:  middle, right left.  I have tried the settings that the other posters use and nothing happens.  What am I suppose to do?

I am not a techie and not planning on it.  All I wanted to do was chat with my friends and can't make heads or tails of anything.  I put pictures in some section so that I could use it as my avatar and I am still waiting for approval of a picture of a cat.  Nothing is working as it should and I am now getting seasick from the bouncing while I type.  Please fix this mess.

To edit your post, all you have to do is click on the 3 little grey dots that are at the top right hand corner of your post. You will see "Edit Reply" HTH.

Not a life altering issue, but I really want to know why I lost a large majority of my 9,000+ posts. When I logged in here yesterday morning, I saw I had a whopping 4 posts remaining. It is my understanding that anyone who registered before 2010 got to keep most, if not all of their post count, but anyone who registered past that lost quite a few. Am I correct on that or no? I am seeing however many posters who registered in 2010 (like I did) still have a post count in the hundreds or thousands. What gives QVC?

Despite all the issues with the new forums format, I really like having an avatar. I think it adds a lot more personality to our user names.

Re: Questions About the Community?

I didn't read this entire thread but it would be nice if there was a phone number to contact for technical issues. I had trouble posting yesterday and today, for some reason I could type my post but it would not post.

I contacted QVC this morning and spoke to 3 people who told me they couldn't help me but would pass my "concern" onto the QVC.com team. But they also said that no one would contact me. Huh???

How can QVC have a Community Forum and no support for it? Luckily I thought to change my nickname and now I'm able to post.

How to we delete pictures from "My Images"?  I was experimenting with different avatars so now I have a bunch of photos I don't want.

Thanks for posting the email address - I made a note of it.

Perhaps they should pass that info onto QVC so they can give it to their customers!

Where it says "Album: Profile (your nic) you will see "Image Options" above it. Click on it to pull down the menu, then select "Delete Image". It will then take you to the Confirmation page an ask you "Are you sure you want to delete this image?" HTH.

Re: Questions About the Community?

PLEASE give us better emoticons, or give us the old ones back!  These are ugly, and many don't show up well enough to see what "emotion" they're supposed to be displaying!  There are thousands available, and these were chosen? I can't even tell what emotion is there in order to select one I want to insert - I insert it and it shows up differently.  I would give the emoticons a "thumbs down", but there is no longer one to display! Smiley Mad
