I used to almost always wear a 1X in most QVC fashions and rarely had trouble with the fit, almost never the sleeve length. However, during the past 18 months or longer, I've been wearing XLs and if the garment has long sleeves, it almost always means I have to get out my needle and thread and shorten them. As a rule now I always check the size chart, and for whatever reason, size XL garments have MUCH LONGER sleeves than any other size, even 3X! The sleeve length adds 1 to 1 3/4 inches over a size L, then goes back down for 1X-3X. So, if you happen to wear an XL, you can expect a gorilla-sized sleeve length. What's up with that QVC???
