@handygal2    Of course it is!  It is marketing. No company runs a contest or sweepstakes without marketing and making money behind it.  AND of course  No one has to enter... you enter if you choose to. No one is forced to enter. Why do people complain about such things?

@SeaMaiden: Many of us are not fans of Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Unfortunately, QVC doesn't take this into account. It's just a bad customer relations move, especially for long-time customers, and l think the Q will lose many of them b/c of this policy.

If you're a QVC customer, you should be able to enter a QVC contest or sweepstakes-- it's as simple as that, IMO.

@handygal2  What is your reasoning behind this statement other than what you think? Anyone who runs a contest or Sweepstakes can set the rules... and as long as they abide by them it is legal.  Entering is totally based on reading the rules and abiding by those rules.   If you do not like the rules or do not want to abide by those rules... then you do not enter. Plain and simple.

You act like QVC owes you something special... I just do not understand that thinking and who would not buy from QVC who buys all the time because of a sweepstakes rule they do not like? REALLY?  Maybe you.  But I doubt that many people are upset about this.

Actually it makes the odds better  for winning. the more complicated the rules as fewer  people like you  will bother to enter!  I like those kind of rules  Smiley Happy
