@loriqvc-- Thank you!!  I'm a little behind in my understanding of abbreviations.  I still text in full words and sentences!  LOL (that one I know)!

@Beauty Maven - I do the same thing! There are very few things that I abbreviate; it just feels too strange to me. But then again, I almost always prefer email over texting if I need to communicate more than a sentence or so... Smiley Wink

Anytime I am tempted to buy something from the Q I check Amazon first to see if they have the product.  Most times they do and since I am a Prime member I purchase from them.  Two days at most for my item and some I have gotten same day.  Sometimes Amazon is slightly higher so I campare Q with shipping charges and usually stay with Amazon.  You might be very surprised to see so many vendors that sell on QVC are also on Amazon.

I do the samething.  I check other places with  free shipping & returns. It gets expensive if you  have to return anything.  I don't know if HSN does it anymore since the merge with QVC but if you return using their return label, you were given a $5.00 credit to use anytime you want.  The max for that was 6 times within the year.

Yesterday, I contacted Wayfair about a return. They were terrific. I had ordered a two drawer wooden file cabinet that was so heavy, my husband and I couldn’t even bring it into the house, let alone carry it up the stairs to our office. I called Wayfair, told them I wanted to return the package, and they made it as simple as could be. I left the box in a protected area of the porch and it will be picked up. I decided to ship it back for free by getting a Wayfair credit. They have plenty of stuff that I can use. I figured that if I paid to ship it back, the cost would wipe out any credit.

Agreed, wonderful idea. QVC won't BUDGE on this money making gimic because it's TOO MUCH   L - I - K- E   RIGHT!!!  The RIGHT thing doe$n't make them money.

 

Besides Wayfair would do this - FAIR is in  their name!!!!!

I text in full sentences too, I think I do that because I long to actually speak to another person on the line. It started with email and here we are with it easily accessed via cell phone. It's quick and easy, but I prefer the sound of a voice.
