When the forum was first reorganized, I saw a few requests for a spell check option and I don't know if it was ever addressed. Would it be possible to give us back the spell check option we used to have?

I would like this too!

There is a spell check option. When you type your response. Look to the top and the little box that has a check mark and ABC, this what you use to spell check.
I hope that I have understood your question.

That's right, there is a manual spell check option. If you want an immediate automatic spell check, then you need to add one to your web browser. Chrome has an automatic spell check or you can add the Grammarly extension. Some versions of Internet Explorer have a spell check, but it has to be enabled. You can do a Google search or use IE's help feature to learn how to do that for the version you have. You can also download an extension called ieSpell.

I've been using this option forever. It sure has saved me some embarrassment. I don't like relying on it but it has made me a better speller.
I like to use words that people don't use as often as they used to. However, I don't always know how to spell the word. First I look it up to make sure I'm using it correctly, then I click on the spell check here as a final before I push post.
It's a win win for me!

I didn't know it was here, either...going to try it out now....
So all it does is underline it....but does not correct it...thats what it did for me...I had to go back and spell the words correcly myself...
Am I doing something wrong....

@circles click on your underlined word and some suggestions will pop up. You can then select the correct spelling of the word you were trying to type.
I'm glad my post did help a few other people. Thanks to @icezeus!

MODS: How can I make some of the replys type bigger? Some of them are so small I have to pass over them as I can't read any of it.
