@Kachina624 wrote:They've experimented with micing the models in the past and it hasn't been terribly sucessful. IMO it just adds to the confusion.... can you imagine a model yanking while Susan Graver and a host were talking at the same time?
@Kachina624 is correct. It WAS done already. They made a 'cozy' girls night atmosphere and all the models were miced...miked? LOL
Dee, Jacquie, and Aday (spell?) I remember were usually the trio of models.
Apparently, it didn't go over well since they stopped it.

@BLING wrote:Someone sugggested on QVC facebook that the models should be mic'd during all fashion shows. This would greatly help us viewers so that we could maybe visualize our size shape length with the models to insure a great fit.
It would also be helpful to have the models freely share their input on the fit, comfort factor and any other comments which may be helpful to us the customers.
I'm hoping that the powers that be read this post and possibly take my suggestion, since this is the suggestion box and incorporate this idea into fashion shows.
Models are NOT spokes-people. That's not their jobs. Every woman is built differently - so giving their input wouldn't help.

@RespectLife I remember The Morning Show back in the 90s with Pat and Dan. The model Corin (never knew how to spell it) was the first to wear a mic and became part of the show. There were others occasionally later on.
You're right, miked looks better.

I do not need to hear from the models. They are there to model the clothes, and basically be props for whatever they are showing.
There is one model. I think her name is Angela, but whenever she models anything she nods her head constantly. I find it very distracting, and will often just change the channel.

I imagine that some of the models can barely breathe with the clothes they are forced into, much less talk!

I know this will never happen, but I wish we were told the weight of the models and the hosts........I know.......the big weight secret...![]()

It tells me nothing to know how tall someone is and the size they are wearing. At least give the models/hosts measurements. I used to think I was around the same size as Shawn and then she mentioned she weighs 140. Was I ever off.....If she wears an XXXXXXS then I need something from the children's department.

Yes!!!! I just mentioned this elsewhere. Would be so helpful to know measurements and weight as well as height of the models.
I generally use Jackie as my comparison, and maybe TV makes her look bigger, but I often think "is she really in the Large??" Plus, some people are more/less comfortable with a closer/looser fit, so having all this info would certainly help me with my buy/return ratio!
