I'm talking about the ones that show up on the right of the screen that say something like going going gone, add to cart. It's a misguided irritating marketing ploy, and NOT helpful. There you are, viewing your item, maybe looking at the various pictures of your item trying to decide. If you want it, all you have to do is click on add to cart etc. Instead there is this annoying pop up, offering the same bloody thing. What is the point? I then have to click to close it. May seem like a simple thing and if it were something helpful maybe I wouldn't mind. But I'm already on the page!

Yes, I agree.  I feel like it is deceptive and a form of manipulation.  I really don't appreciate the sales tactic.

I agree.  It just causes me to leave their website and they lose a sale.

Ad Block Plus

Simply google it

I use it and am happy with it.

It's not an ad per 'se. It is QVC'S own personal ad... but it's ridiculous because you are already on the page looking at the item. I have a ad blocker now but this is not the same thing

For crying out loud people, just download and install a pop up blocker.

It's easy to do and you won't have to deal with the pop ups any more.

I don't have any pop ups.

The Sky looks different when you have someone you love up there.

I use Firefox with TWO ad/popup blockers.  They do not work on that "going, going,..." ridiculous popup that you get when you add something to your cart.
