Please stop redirecting my pages!

Not sure when this started but recently when I  go to the forums the page redirects to the home page featuring the Today's Special.  Since I already know how to navigate there I'd like to know how to make that irratating change stop.

Re: Please stop redirecting my pages!

You provided no system info for the mods to refer to their IT department to help you.

Are you using a computer or mobile device?

If computer, Mac or PC?

Which OS are you using - comp?

Which iOS are you using - mobile device?

Which browser & version are you using?

Have you tried switching browsers?

Tried restarting?

FWIW...

I have not experenced your issue using a Mac, latest version of Sierra & Firefox.

I'm having no problems.   With the limited info provided, my first thought, too,  is that it's browser-related.  On this site, in particular, when they "update" their software sometimes it's no longer compatible with the browser cookies/cache or the bookmark we use to navigate to the site.    To see if it's the bookmark, try going into the shopping area first, then click on the "Blogs & Forums" link at the bottom of the screen, and go to your usual sub-forum.   If the problem doesn't show up when you navigate that way, you probably need to delete the old bookmark and create a new one.

With any site glitches, it's always good to first try a different browser to see if the same problem occurs there.   And delete cookies/cache/website data, quit the browser, and relaunch it.

Hope you locate the problem.   O/T, good to see you, @SydneyH!   I hope you and yours had a nice holiday season, and hope 2017 will be a wonderful year.

(My info:  iMac, macOS Sierra v. 10.12.2.  On the Mac I use 3 browsers:  Firefox 50.1.0, Chrome 55.0.2883.95, Safari 10.0.2.  I also use iPad 3 iOS, 9.3.5 and iPhone 5, iOS v. 10.2 [my old iPad no longer can accommodate new iOS updates].  I clear browser cookies/cache/website data at least once a day on all 3 devices.)

Re: Please stop redirecting my pages!

It was happening on my new laptop that features Windows 10, however since I posted my appeal, it has now mysteriously stopped.
