I find more and more hosts and OAPs are speaking so fast they trip over their own words.  The Lug rep is an instant mute and now the Mr. Christmas rep is horrible with her speed speaking.  Why the hurry?  Take a breath, please!  I will not buy from someone who doesn't take the proper time to describe their product..

@Petey07 ..... I totally agree with you...... I tried to talk as fast as they do & I can’t do it...... they must go to school to learn how (lol) ...I can’t understand a word of what they say & I can’t understand why they are doing it ?????? .... the “leaders” of the pack are usually Amy S & Kerstin L ...Amy especially because she not only speaks fast but, mispronounce words also .... I change the channel whenever a host or vendor is “speedtalking”  🙃

My hearing is not as good as it was, I use captions, even on movies.

You are absolutely correct re the speedtalking.

I haven't had any problem with the vendors (yet), but there are a couple of hosts that I just don't watch because they speed talk so much.  These old ears just can't keep up!!!!

The last few times I watched Antonella, she talked so fast, she stumbled through her sentences. WHY are the hosts in such a rush? As long as they get to colors, sizes, why rush through a presentation? They used to  have 3 minutes to present a product, now their presentations last as much as 15 minutes. That's plenty of time to slowly show the product. What's irritating is,  when they talk about non-sense WITHOUT giving product info.

**I still say, ALL hosts need a frequent re-training/refreshers course.

I agree.  I don't know why the hosts/vendors feel the need to speed talk.

Recently I was on the computer and QVC was on the TV. I wasn't paying much attention to the Q when suddenly someone was talking a mile a minute and loud. It was Amy. I have no idea what she said. Switched the channel.

Speed-talking annoys me too. But so does shouting, and high-pitched, nasal and squeaky voices. Many vendors have this problem, as do some hosts. I'm sure this is resulting in significant lost sales for the Q.

There should be better voice training before these folks are deemed ready for TV.

Maybe l'm just too hard to please. But l think l'm in good company, lol.

It's not normal speach.  I just assume they are chugging down energy drinks.  I turn off the volune or change channels when they do this.  I don't know why it's accepted but it's the number one reason I turn off the channel even when I am interested in the product..

I AGREE!  Amy's high pitch voice and slurring because of the fast pace of her speech is the most annoying.  ..not to mention she tries to act so cute.UGH!
