I miss Tacori too, I have not bought any Diamonique since they got rid of the designers. Qvc Diamonique designs are too generic.

I bought several Tacori pieces for myself and 3 daughters when Q introduced their Tacori diamonique line....we all still wear them and the quality is superb....I have bought only a few things in diamonique since then and have been very disappointed with more recent things. no more for me but if Tacori did return I would be the first to buy! Regardless of how the contract ended, it would be great if they could bring back their jewelry to QVC.

wHY DO YOU ASSUME IT IS qvc, i MEAN ISN'T IT POSSIBLE tACORI MAY HAVE ENDED IT. iT ISNT LIKE THEY NEED TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH qvc, QUITE THE CONTRARY. Whoops, excuse my caps malfunction, it's late. Anyway Tacori is in Vogue, they may have felt this was not in their best interest.

No one is assuming it was on QVC's end. We will never know, because contract negotiations are usually kept between each company. But the title of this thread is "Suggestion Box".. and my suggestion is to bring back Tacori. If they can't, they can't.. but if they can, I want QVC to know that there are a lot of out here who LOVE their designs and miss them.

There was quite an extensive article, maybe a year, or so ago, I want to say, in Vogue, but, it could have been another magazine, about Tacori.
They didn't dwell on it, but, there was a part of that article, that talked about Paul Tacorian, and how divisive, his bringing a line to QVC had been, within the company.
Apparently, there was a strong faction, within the company, that felt bringing a line to a home shopping channel, was beneath Tacori and cheapened their image, and they also had very negative feedback, from some of their customer base, who felt the same way.
You got the impression that Paul had more than his share of detractors, in the company; he apparently had the quite the party boy, playboy image, and the QVC decision made him less popular.
I certainly don't know, but, I strongly suspect, that Tacori dumped QVC, rather than the other way around.

I believe it was Tacori that ended it. I know they sufered loss of high end business because of it. I have a REAL Tacori engagement ring, and a stud earring set that I LOVED for yrs and yrs before they came to QVC, And although up close you can tell the difference (the real one is much more eleborate and platinum) NO ONE believes that my Tacori pieces are real, Which, to my end, let them believe what they want, But I also read an article a fews back to the same, That Tacori regretted the decision to bring a line to the Q as their stocks on their couture line had dropped. Who wants to pay thousands for something thast most people assume you bought on a home shopping site? Yes, the Q made them lots of money no doubt, but in the end, could have potentianlly caused the demise of what the company was known for: sought after highly detailed high end pieces, not shopping chanel knock offs.

Thanks, wowee. That's probably what happened. Well, I'll enjoy the QVC Tacori pieces I have and feel fortunate I was able to get them when I could.

What's kind of funny is that I had never heard of Tacori until I saw it on QVC. Then I went to one of my local jewelers and checked out their standard offerings. Definitely special.
It's a two-way street sometimes, although I do think the very high-end companies walk a dangerous line when their products are too easily available. It's my understanding that's why the Louis V signature handbags are being superceded by even more expensive leather bags - too many "ordinary people" were buying the version we've seen for so many years.
