Please consider offering more sterling silver and less platinum clad diamonique products.

I've not had good luck with platinum clad items.  The cladding wore off all the high spots on my favorite three-stone ring and the prongs now look black...which makes me wonder if it's really sterling silver underneath the platinum.

I'd really appreciate more sterling silver pieces.

@7 of 9  It may be only that their "clad" is a very thin coat of platinum.  I have many, many rings and bracelets that are platinum over silver, and that has not happened.  These, of course, were purchased elsewhere, so the process may be different than what QVC uses.

I own quite a few platinum clad rings and have worn them many times and no cladding came off. I hope my pieces continue to hold up, you know you can send the rings back. I would be surprised if they would not stand behind the product.

I feel just the opposite.  I do have some silver rings and earrings.  However, and I use a Lori Grenier tarnish free amoire and still get some tarrnish of my silver pieces

Also I have no irritation problems with the platnium clad

I actually talked to QVC once about having the ring replaced (sent them pictures) and they told me only the stones are covered, if they crack, get dull, fall out.  The settings are not.

I don't know...this was purchased back when QVC first started selling Epiphany platinum clad items.  Maybe the quality has improved since then. I loved this darned ring.  It was so believable!

I may just pick something not super expensive and give it another try.

@7 of 9  It sounds like you've worn it a lot over a long period of time.  Under those circumstances I think any plating would show signs of wear.  It is, after all, just a plating.  Once the bare silver is exposed, it will likely tarnish.  It may be time to treat yourself to something fresh and new!

I disagree with you .... I only buy silver that is platinum clad .... it holds up and looks so much better than plain silver 😍

I bought one Epiphany platinum clad ring....after a couple months it showed signs of wear.   I was disappointed, and won’t purchase another ring.

I also have a pair of platinum clad hoop earrings....those have held up well.

Forgive my ignorance jewelry lovers, but can’t you just have pieces re-dipped, so to speak?
