Please have someone speak to all of the Philosophy skin care representatives about their on air demo's of the Fresh Cream and other frangranced body washes.
I just can't watch anymore, as often as you have them on all throught the year. I find it very insulting, boring, and small on their part to stand there for nearly two hours per visit and make foamy suds in a bowl to encourage us to purchase their products.
It is a useless demo, and I would like to think they think we are more intelligent than to spend our time being initiated into something that pathetic.
Thank you.

I love Philosophy!!! I love the girls too. Everytime my DH walks in the room and sees one of the girls making suds in the bowl, he laughs, and says, "There they go, with that bowl of suds!" LOL, it does put a smile on your face...![]()

They are on alot. I cannot think of any other vendor who sells gel to any where near that amount of time or who have as much 'air time' to fill. I think it just gives them something to do. It doesn't bother me. Howewer, I can see why you may be tired of it.
What I would like to see are some new gel scents....the Fresh Cream demos seemed endless. Also, it annoys me when thay make claims such as 'buy it for all your friends...I never met any one who did not absolutely love Frsh Cream'. I could not stand it and many of us on these boards and on the reviews agreed.
I think philosophy must be a huge seller judging by the air time. I have tried most of the skin products (but haven't lately since maybe Miracle but get samples from local stores) and only have continued with purity. I like that, pure grace spritz and shower gel, the seasonal gels and alternate micro delivery wash with some other scrubs. The rest did not live up to the claims for me, much to my disappointment.

I'm finding it insulting that with all of their "genius" from Christina on down, and their supposedly superb marketing department worldwide, that the best they can do on QVC for two hours per session is make bubbles in a bowl while discussing much of the same thing. Once was enough for me, I get it.
Also, now to take up air time they use frilly verbage to describe how their products smell by describing different "scenes" for each scent. Again, how mundane and insulting. I don't need the vendor and the host spending 10-minutes painting a summery beach scene in great detail to impart how fresh and "breezy" a product smells. I know they must do something to use up time, but I would much prefer details about product content, how and where it is made, any and all details about it, the company, manufacturing, cost, etc. The worst part of this is the same people repeat these same stories with every two-hour presentation as if we've never heard it before.
I know it isn't easy to do what they do, but these are smart people with huge advertising people behind them and I expect they can do much better than the mundane and rote stuff they are constantly feeding us.
They are just on too often, with too much of the same ole stuff, different days.
Enough is enough.
It's time to freshen things up or spend less time on air !

I'm so with you about that !!!! Bath tubs and a little bowl aren't the same thing are they ?
I just want people to get real and honest about everything and stop trying to "glaze over my mind" with their various pitches. We are smarter than they treat us. They appear to be smart representing a zillion dollar worldwide corporation, and yet this is the best they have to offer in sales pitches, repeatedly as often as they are on air ?
I feel that there is so much information they could be discussing from the bottom up about all of their products that they never mention. Each girl from Philosophy basically says the same thing so you know its all rehearsed. That insults me.
If I were in charge, I would feel compelled to put on programs with various information given in a variety of ways because I would be highly embarrassed to treat my potention consumers and repeated buyers in the manner that we are. We are smart, savvy consumwers with brains and they treat us as if we are academically challenged.
It really reinforces why I don't watch the shows or have interest in their prodicts, even if they are of great quality.
