Have you ever thought of doing a show for strictly petites?  Many of your fashions that are worn by your smaller hosts during presentations do not look good because tops are way too long.  I am small and petite, and most of your tops are just too long......but not all.  I would love to see a special show that was framed around attractive looks for petites.

GREAT IDEA!!! Not only small petites but plus size petites. Just because we are plus size doesn't mean we are tall. Try finding plus size petite pants in a brick & mortar - impossible! Thank goodness for D&C in that department. Same with tops. I don't want tops ending mid thigh unless they are a tunic. My mom was a tiny petite lady & I know she struggled with sizing just like you. Let's hear it for petites!

@101 Pounds of Fun  Another thumbs up for the idea.  And how about some narrow width shoes?  LOL, but also serious!

Here is my thinking.... a show for petites wouldn't sell enough.  BUT, they could add petite sizes to a larger selection of their merchandise, and dress the smaller hosts and some petite sized models in them.  @suzykee  Yes, even plus sized petites.

Yes, I don't understand why it wouldn't be a good business practice to include petites in at least special values and other high selling items, at least as an experiment.  I suggested this to c.s. and she said she was passing the idea on.  I think that's policy, and therefore suggest more of you do tell of your frustrations, and suggest your versions of how to include us.. If our ideas are profitable, one would think they would continue.

Petite sizes sell out as quickly as regular size. Tops is where you can really tell the difference between petite and short. A true petite woman is one who is small all over, not just short in stature. With all these QVC channels now, there is no reason a show just for the petite and talls should not be doable.

@ItsME.  Isn't that whay they've been doing, using petite and even plus petite models?   There's a huge selection of merchandise; there are long tunics and tops that are not so long.  Petite pants are plentiful.  There are plenty of choices for everyone.

A long long very long time ago they actually did a couple of strictly petite shows. It was a specific brand like Petite Sophisticates or some such brand. I think it lasted for about 2 shows, maybe 3 and that was the end of that.

@Kachina624   Maybe I just don't watch enough, but I don't see a lot of petite merchandise when looking at the offerings on-line, and most of the models I see in the videos are tall.  It's a mixed bag with the hosts... some are shorter, some taller.  Tops that look good on someone 5'8" are more like a mini-dress on a shorter woman.  Tops that are meant to be shorter aren't so short on a shorter person, so they don't fit as intended.

There is a larger offering of pants in petite.  That's good, but it could be more.  Either way, we short gals do need to cover up our upper torsos!  LOL

@Kachina624   Perfect example... I just received this dress.  Got it in size two.  Tried it on, and didn't like it.  I'm short-waisted, so I lifted the shoulders of the dress an inch, and it was really pretty (although too long).  I'll have to decide if I do some alterations to make it work, or if I'll send it back.  It would have been perfect in a petite size!

@ItsME. How about a small shoulder pad in that dress?
