I love the easy pay option, but why advertise 2 easy payments of $13.00 when actually that's before shipping and taxes!  in actuality It turns out to be 2 easy payments of $15.10 or something like that.  They should remind their customers its BEFORE shipping and taxes are added.  Just saying.

You're absolutely right, they should say two easy pay of $13.00 for the item plus $2.50 for half the shipping (wait for exceptions) plus half of the sales tax if applicable (breakdown to follow) for a total of two easy pay of $_____ for most.  If item is being shipped outside the continental U.S. then half the shipping will be $___ if you are in HI or $___ if you are in AK.  For those that choose a shipping method other than standard then half the shipping add on will be $____ if you are in HI or $____ if you are in AK, etc., etc., etc.

Repeat formula for all sales tax charges for each state and locality then end with the total amount of each easy pay will be $___ if you live in ...

Even then the majority of those ordering will not attentively listen to the information.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

I agree -  I would be one who would not listen.  I know I have to pay shipping and tax - everywhere I live I pay those. And I can divide by 2 or 3 or 5 or 6 still even though my brain is aging faster thsn I'd like.

There would be hundreds of variations -  there are state taxes as well as local taxes - at least there are in the two places I live.  I just changed the addresses on several of my upcoming AD shipments because I will be at a different address by the time those shipments are sent to me.  I could see the tax difference immediately on my AD order page.  That's all I need.  I don't need to be insulted with too much information -  and I believe the vast majority of Internet shoppers know pretty well what they have to pay.  We're just not that naive and we're just not that stupid either.

I'm with Jeanne Bice on some of these things -  she used to say listing all the sizing in the oral presentations was boring and for the most part people didn't listen.  Yes, Jeanne, you were right.
