Item shipped on 8/3. Scheduled for delivery on 8/11. Today is 8/9. The tracking status doesn't even show the package in the system. QVC: please look at how well other companies provide tracking...what Q provides is the worst. Check: Amazon, LLBean, Nordstroms, or just about any other vendor.

You have an estimated delivery daty -- which is two days form today -- so why do you need to know where you package is right now?

Why be impatient?

A few days ago someone was pining for the good old days of QVC.  I remember those days.  We never tracked anything - it still got to us just as it does today -  except that it took longer.  I like today better.

Like Toby -  I track pretty much only when my EDD has come and gone.   I think that has happened maybe twice in all the years since there has been tracking -  and one of them was a misdelivery by my UPS man.

I like to know the tracking information so that I can plan on being home when I have a delivery coming that will be left at my door.

The delivery dates I get from QVC are always wrong, they usually arrive before the EDD, which should be a good thing, but that means I may not be home when it is delivered.

I prefer ordering from Amazon because the delivery dates are accurate.  I know most of what I order will arrive in 2 days.  My QVC orders usually say in process until the day before they are delivered.

It's really NONE of your business why she wants to track her package.  Most people do want to know when their package will arrive. Whether they work, are going on vacation, are excited about receiving it......who cares?? and who are you to judge?? That is why EVERY company in existence offers it.

QVC is light years away from being up to date with how the real world functions in the area of tracking packages, processing returns and refunds to credit cards.

The CEO needs more complaints like this one to update their lackluster and often in repair website as well.

HSN, Amazon, to name a couple, both excel in all of the above categories and QVC would do well to learn from them!

I have a return that according to QVC tracking has been sitting at my local post office since last Thursday.  I can't use USPS tracking because it does not recognize the numbers from the QVC mailing label.

When I return something to Amazon I can track exactly where it is.  And they give me the refund as soon as the package registers that it is on its way back.

I personally track all my items.  Especially when I order an expensive item.  I also like OP , like to be home ---UPS does not even knock when they leave a 300.00 package at my door.  Example:  This past Summer, I had a package coming from Q.  Those outdoor mats for patio.  I also had a package coming from Amazon.  Total was over $100.00 in merchandise.   So , I was checking throughout the day, and guess what?  It said my package was on my front door.   IT WAS NOT.  I called UPS and told them they needed to get back over here, and go to the house that it was delivered to, and get my stuff.   They told me they didn't have time, and that I could put a tracer on, and Q and Amazon would have to trace it.  I went off on them, and I told them look, this is not Q or Amazon problem.  It is the fault of your driver. and you need to send him out here now!!!!!!  I walked up and down the street and saw no packages left at any door.   UPS showed up about 15 min later with my stuff and was apologizing all over the place.  So it is best to keep watch for your packages!

Worst part is where they left it , was a neighbor that I know would have kept it.

We all know tracking is woefully inadequate and inaccurate so I see no reason to get upset about it.  If a package is in the hands of the USPS, you'll probably have no tracking until the day it's delivered.  UPS thankfully is better but I see tracking there that says, "Sorry, no tracking available".  Then people call Q CS and get bent out of shape because the rep doesn't know where their package is.

And why are you concerned about how I feel about the delivery of my package? Your response reminds me of a recent posting by someone about posters who feel it necessary to comment/critique a suggestion....this is a SUGGESTION for QVC...not for other posters to be concered about why I post what I do.

Because it is a provided service, that runs up the cost of shipping, and if it is supposed to be provided in the cost, I, for one, want to see it utilized, and done properly.

I too, am experiencing a tracking/shipping issue right now and watching and alerting someone before the entire shipping window has passed could lead to the package being located and moved on it's way rather than it getting lost permanently.
