These emails seem to be pointless. I can check my account/order status at any time. Why send an email with that info?

Some people don't check their account/order status so I think for those people sending the Account Summary email is a really good idea ... in case something gets charged to their account in error they will see it right away!!!

It's interesting to me that I receive emails that I don't sign up for and never the ones I do sign up for.

I keep an eye on my CREDIT CARD for unauthorized purchases; I don't wait for a "summary" from QVC.
ETA: Also, the QVC Account Summary is sent once a month, so you wouldn't see the error "right away!!!"
