Same old must work.  I know it does for me -   I don't order as much as I once did -  don't shop anywhere as I once did, so much less that I may be responsible for the whole economy going down.

But when I do buy, I pretty much buy only the same old, same old -  and that's true here at the Q, at Nordstrom, at CVS and even at the gas station and the grocery store.  Oh, yes, I've owned only one brand of car since 1985.

I know if I watched QVC more, if I ordered on impulse as I did when TV shopping was quite new, I wouldn't be as content as I am, but I also doubt I'll ever go back to that kind of watching or ordering either.

QVC's product roation and on-air features maximize sales which QVC wants.  It does exist to make money.

It is not here to entertain you.  It is not here to alleviate your boredome.

If you had your own shopping channel, perhaps it would be different.  Perhaps you would be able to work to entertain bored people and forget about makig a profit.  QVC, alas, does not -- nor does HSN or Evine or any of the others.

People ask too much form a shopping channel.  It is a retailer -- nothing more or nothing less.  I cnnot imagine you going into Target or WalMart and asking one of the employees to entertain you because you are bored -- or to move products around, bring different products in, or otherwise customize the store displays to suit your whims, so why would QVC be any different?

Grill but don't get your grill dirty!  What?   Use this:   round pan, it's the best.   Use this:  flat pan it won't get your grill dirty. This square pan is your opportunity....................I've already quit Kitchen Aide - the voice of the new demonstrator isn't flying with me.

They do that.  I saw in my Walmart that they moved things around.  They also did it in Michael's which threw me off because I had learned where things were originally.  Moving things around does freshen up the scene.  QVC could freshen up its act if its customers complain.  That only makes sense in my OP.

I'm sorry, no Birkshire Blankets for me....  I have wonderful blankets and throws that don't need replacing every year by a long shot.  I also don't think of blankets as a gift giving staple, no matter how cute.  JMHO Woman Happy
