PLEASE Start Giving Chest and Length Measurements.

When I'm watching the Q many, many times measurements are not posted, nor does the host include them in his or her sales pitch.  Tonight I ordered a Mizrahi robe only to get on this site and find out that it was going to be way too long for me. When you have a 5'10" model wearing it, you're not too sure if it's going to be too long on you.

I also ordered 2 Logo cardigans in 2 different sizes because no chest measurements were posted or given by Shawn.  After I cancelled the robes for being too long, I found that the size L top was going to be too small, but the size XL was going to be huge since it was 48".  If I'd known I would have saved myself the time of having to go on the net, log in, look up the garment, check under "click here" only to find that neither of the items would work for me.

I find myself cancelling more and more things because measurements are not given. I also find that I'm not ordering as many things because I'm tired of looking up the items or more importantly, sending them back.

QVC used to provide these measurements on screen as a matter of course.  It's never been clear why QVC thought it had to stop or cut back.  I never see length anymore and that is always critical to me.  Chest measurements are sometimes there, sometimes not.  Also important.

Chest measurements are very important because the chest measurements are not the same on all garments .... the garments made in China have smaller measurements than others ... LC is another brand that runs small

For pants, I would also love to have waist measurements given.  Q focuses on hip measurements, but for those of us  with thicker waists, the waist measurement is more meaningful.

Re: PLEASE Start Giving Chest and Length Measurements.

i agree with this. my other problem is in the written measurements, sometime the chest measurement is given as "folded garment" and i don't know how this would differ from just a chest measurement, unless we are suppose to double it.(q could do that when they write post, too, for consistency).

i generally order online and always check measurements.

Paulette, I'm grateful that you're going to intercede.

I would love if the hosts would give measurements, or at least have the measurements posted consistently on the screen.  I realize that  returns bring IN money to QVC now, but they are frustrating to customers like me.  I've just about given up on clothing purchases, even after checking measurements online.

I remember when the measurements were included on the screen during the presentations.  I usually order online, so I do look up size measurements on the chart, but have found that those numbers are often wrong!   And even if the measures are correct, I never really know how the garment will fit and look until I try it on!

Re: PLEASE Start Giving Chest and Length Measurements.

Giving measurements should be part of the host's presentation. Not everyone has a computer or internet access to look up that info. Heck, if I have to do all the leg work, I might as well go to the mall. I know someone said they are shorter. Well, I have the opposite problem of being 6 ft tall and measurements are important to me too. Just saying that a skirt is "a good length" isn't good enough. More time should be spent on giving all the info the viewers need to make a good purchase, instead of all the giggling, nonsense and asking silly questions that have nothing to do with the product being sold.
