PLEASE MAKE TOPS LESS LONG--SHORTER IS MORE STYLISH

Long tops are becoming the standard. I feel they do not flatter a larger woman. I am an XL and look like a sausage in most longer lengths. Please bring back a variety and at least 50% of the shorter length. Also, what is the difference between a 1X and a XL since the measurements are sometimes equal? Hope this gets seen by Gary of Denim & CO.

They also do not flatter short-waisted women. That's why I like Joan Rivers' jackets--they're not overly long.

I feel the opposite,lol.

I hate shorter tops and find longer ones much more flattering.

I like longer tops .....shorter tops are not very flattering.....

I like both long and shorter tops depending and what I wear on the bottom.

QVC added an XL size maybe 15 years ago in response to customer demand. I think people had an aversion to going into plus sizes. XL sounds so much better than 1X, doesn't it?

I like longer tops, but not for everything. I needed a top that ended at the waist to wear with a pair of palazzo pants and I couldn't find one for a long time. Finally I found a Nikki Poulos ballet style top that wraps and ties at the waist in HSN and it's perfect. Never thought something like that would be so hard to find. And since I'm chiming in, could there be more pants without elastic waists? They don't flatter everyone. Between the back waistband and the top of my rear, it's just a bunch of extra gathered fabric. Just have a little more variety, that's all.

I also like the shorter tops. I am 5'3" and the long ones often hit me mid-hip, which is not a flattering look. The average American woman is 5'4", but many styles seem to be made for taller folks. I like my shape and don't want to cover up everything below my waist.

Love the longer tops. I hate when I have to reach for something and the stupid top shows my tummy. Longer tops look much nicer.
