PLEASE FIX YOUR TRACKING SYSTEM!

I ordered 4 items on 3/9 (the 5 Easy Pay Day). Two items have shipped and two haven't.  But the problem is with the tracking, both in shipping and returns. Items "appear" to sit for days in one location, which may or may not be true. Certainly as the corporation sending the items, QVC should be able to get more current tracking from both UPS and USPS. This tracking helps me to know if my items are coming early or on time so I know when to look out for them!

If the shipper doesn't provide accurate information, there isn't much a merchant can do about it.  It's not like they have dozens of choices for shipping.  The USPS is the worse...they normally don't do any tracking until the day the item is delivered.  Good luck trying to whip them into shape.

I just posted something about the slow shipping from QVC and also their tracking of packages. I will see the tracking information, and when I look again later, there is the message that no tracking is available, then it reappears. Almost all the other companies I use for items to be shipped provide access to the USPS tracking #. Not sure why Q can't/won't do this. USPS shows the tracking from day it left to when it arrives, and information of the package's current status/location. 

Even small companies I buy from provide the direct link to USPS. Surely QVC can do the same.

Here's the tracking on a USPS package I got last week.  It was somewhere for 5 days...who knows where?

It's really weird how different locations get such different service.

 

My last QVC order took three days from order to arrive via USPS --and I can see 7 different tracking messages  - right down to "delivered - package box below" 

 

There's not much difference at all for me between USPS and UPS - and that's true both here in Florida and when I'm on Long Island - although I will say I like my LI UPS men better than my PO delieverer.  TYhen again, here I like my USPS person way better than the UPS man.  Liking, though, has nothing to do with timing of delivery.
