Why does our cable channel say that yesterdays shows were originally aired in 2013. Were these taped? It said this on the kindle shows. Would like to see new products with better prices. Is this possible?

Are you referring to the original aired date listed on the cable information screen about the show?

If so, you can't necessarily assume those dates mean what you think they mean. Sometimes if the name of a show is the same, the cable or dish companies will show the date of the first airing of a show with that name. So if there was a Kindle show in 2013 and the description for the current show (also named Kindle) doesn't say "New", then the cable company will usually show 2013 as the first aired date. It doesn't mean that the show you recorded from yesterday was actually an old one from 2013.

However, if you are concerned that some info is old, you can always look online for the current info on products and prices. I have also noticed on HSN (not HSN2) that some of their late night/early morning shows do sometimes say pre-recorded.
