I didn't see the posts, @Moonchilde, but I've learned that what can happen is if a post directly replies to another post and quotes it, then if the original post is removed, the replies also disappear.  Perhaps that's what happened?

@Moonchilde

I only deleted the one but maybe the other posts quoted that one in part or full?

It night have been a software glitch you didn't "do", @Beth-QVC. I noticed the off-topic post, reported it, and answered a post from @chickenbutt that she had posted after it. Now both cb's and my posts are gone, both posted after the deleted post.  I don't believe either of our posts quoted the deleted post, only because the deleted post didn't address the thread topic in any way, it was completely different.

As I said, might just be a glitch. No worries.

I'm guessing that when a post is removed or hidden that the replies get pulled along and hidden automatically too because of the software being used for these boards.

 Everyone at some point was new.   We should not be treating those new posters disrespectfully simply because they are new.   None of us own this forum.

Hey Moonchilde!  Bummer.  I don't think we said anything out of line so I guess you all are right - some sort of glitch.  I'm sure that if she deleted our posts purposely she would have no problem saying so.

Hope you're having a happy day.   I lost my internet for two hours and was going crazy, because i was in the middle of stuff.  So then I spent two hours trying to figure it out, running up and down the stairs, etc, and suddenly I see a page come up from att saying 'we've fixed the problem'.   Well, couldn't ya have told people there WAS a problem on your end so we don't spend half the day trying to figure out what is wrong with our network?

(sorry - rant over)   As you can tell I was extremely aggravated.  Smiley Happy
