OTO magically appears on waitlist next day

I missed the LOGO OTO presentation yesterday, A235493, but really liked it after seeing the video and would have purchased in slate. It wasn't available on waitlist, but I thought I would check today in case there were cancellations. Lo and behold, it's now available on waitlist in all sold out colors, but not at the OTO price of course. I'm sure QVC does this all the time, but I don't usually purchase clothing so have never noticed. Not a customer friendly practice IMHO.
