The online descriptions of fashion items are generally pretty good, but I find that I frequently can't find enough information about the fabrics used. For example, it might say 100% cotton, but it doesn't always say whether it is knit or woven, and it's not always apparent. Or it might be obvious the fabric is a woven, but not what the finish is, or what the hand is. I can't think this would take a lot of extra effort on the part of the staff who create the descriptions. (By the way, that must be a fun job!)
Fabrics are quite important to me in deciding to buy a garment. And they are so wonderfully varied these days, that it isn't clear from the photos, or even the videos when these are available. I also notice that when garments receive lower ratings, it often seems to be about the fabric--the weight/drape/etc is not what was expected. Of course, better information won't always solve that problem, but it probably would help.
I've been much more often pleasantly surprised than disappointed by the fabrics I have received from Q, but I'd like not to be surprised at all!
