Some people have to insert their faith into every thing so I don't think a forum solely for that purpose would make a difference to these hard core religious people. Something as simple as saying having a blessed day has religious over tones and that phrase is used over and over again on a daily basis by quite a few hosts. I would prefer if they would just say, have a nice day, but they insist on showing their faith at someone elses expense. A political forum here would be mayhem, but a lot of fun.LOL

But if it existed, it would at least be a basis for deleting posts or moving threads TO a Faith Forum. I agree that there are some people who do and will continue to post such things anywhere and everywhere and "will not be stopped" - because...well, you know ;-(
If there was a forum, moderators would have the option to point out to people that their posts would be more appropriate in the Faith forum, and to please post such topics there. And if a few people refused, when the option existed for them, then IMO their posts should be deleted as off-topic, controversial, antagonizing, etc.

I think is has been hard for all of us to know what is appropriate and what is not. I have had posts poofed that I thought were totally innocent and others where I thought maybe I crossed a line...which I try hard not to do...that remained.
I am a person who pretty much can hear what you have to say, disagree and walk away. I guess I just want that same thing for everyone here...within reason....and there lies the problem.
What is within reason? It seems to me we get way bent out of shape over things we can just choose not to listen to if we don't want to. I can't stop anyone in public from expressing their beliefs or opinions and don't try to do that here.....Whether it's politics or religion or even the occult. I know many disagree because this is a shopping forum. I realize our world is changing and QVC knows that too. It's a fine line and there should be room for everybody. How they do that without offending tons of people on either side.....I don't know. I can only give my opinion....

l agree with OP. And furthermore, in the spirit of consistency-- since religious and spiritual jewelry are presented on-air by the Q, they should allow a forum to discuss these topics. If the selling of these items offends us, we change the channel; and if such discussion here bothers us, we won't visit that particular forum.

This thread is the perfect example as to why religion has no place here. A train that has gone off the rails.

Other than the exchange about heat and humidity, it has been both civil and on point.

Too good to last, apparently. Why am I not surprised?

Anytime religion is mentioned it can become controversial, everyone knows that...no big surprise...
