Moderators - Help - my Notifications not going through

@Beth-QVC and @Eva-QVC have been the main moderators how have been helping me with this periodic ongoing problem, but I'm grateful for help from any of the moderators.

 

A bit of the background can be found in my previous thread (which references an addition related issue in yet another thread): Moderatorshelp - I'm locked out of QVC forums again

 

This current problem is a twist on the intricacies of sending out Notifications to alert folks to QVC OTOs and other special offers. 

 

I'm able to put the Notification names in my posts, but folks are only receiving the Notification alerts sporadically (for a while, no one was receiving them early this morning).

Once again, I have a feeling that the QVC forum filters are sometimes blocking the Special Offers & OTO Alerts that the other forum members receive from me via your notification system. 
 
When everything is working well, it takes me about 10-15 minutes to send out these notifications but, since early this morning, it's taken me several hours to make sure that all the forum members got the following two Alerts: 
 
 
 
Someone let me know early this morning that they had not received their notification and others hadn't received their notifications either.  
 
Last night I spent several hours resending notifications in slightly different tweaked ways, until I finally got confirmation that the notifications finally went through the system.
 
 
This morning there was another OTO at 9am ET and I had to go through the same series of hoops.

What's really strange is that my system had been working like clockwork for the past 3-4 months. As recently as last week, I had sent out notifications without any problems... so I'm not sure what has suddenly changed.
 
I'd appreciate if you could look into this and let me know how to proceed because there are likely to be one or two additional OTOs in the saturday afternoon show (5pm-7pm ET). 
 
 
There's some additional more specific information which I just emailed you about.
 
 
I'd appreciate any feedback you could give me. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you for working so hard @bebe777, but try not lock yourself out of the forum again because @bebe77 might get you into a little trouble, if you let her come out to play.Smiley Wink

The mods have been great as always. They've contacted me via email and are trying to figure out what's gone wrong this time. So, hopefully, I'll be able to send out the OTO notifications tomorrow afternoon... I'm really hoping for a winter Seasonal (2) CCs plus (2) RTMs OTO. Smiley Happy

Ok I'm going to hijack your thread because I need help! 😀😁

 

I need a mods help and don't know where to go.  Hopefully @Beth-QVC OR @Eva-QVC@ can help.  I no longer have the drop-down menu when I post when I want to @ someone.  Did I click something by mistake when I have the major page jumping? 

 

Help!!!  I don't post much because it is a pain on the kindle but I really like and use that feature.  TIA and you can email me too !

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't receive the saturday notification but hopefully you were able to pick up the OTOs that you wanted. Smiley Happy

 

And thank you for letting me know that you didn't receive the notification, because that's the main way I know there is a problem.

 

Unfortunately, something very odd happened with saturday's OTO Alerts thread. For some reason all of the notifications with the exception of the R-S post were deleted. -- I think that once the posts (with the notification names) were deleted, that prevented the Wen member from receiving saturday's Wen OTO notifications. 

 

I have no clue why this was done and it was very disheartening to me to think that Wenners who rely on my notifications had their notifications deleted. -- Some folks may have missed the opportunity to purchase the OTOs becasue of this. 

 

Hopefully the QVC mods will help sort it out next week. Smiley Happy

 

 

I also hope they are able to sort out the mystery of why your drop-dwon menu has disappeared for your Notifications. -- From what I've seen, the only way make sure a notification goes through is to use the drop-down feature. Best of luck!!! Smiley Happy
