@Petpeeve welcome to the boards.

I think they are trying to show how the fabric moves and all angles of item. When something is too annoying I just go online to check things out.Being a shorty I do like to see where the hemlines and sleeves end up on the 'shorty models' and a live model moving around can help me with that.

You are in the right forum --it is titled suggestions. I agree sometimes they look like a You Tube exercise spot. Smiley Happy

People should be able to comment and vent about whatever they want about QVC. I get annoyed about the models stance as well. Since they all do the same thing, they are obviously being coached to do so.

I find it annoying when the models turn and bend one leg up 90 degrees...with clothing and shoes. With shoes, the rocking back and forth and pressing on the heels.

I stop watching if too annoyed. Just me and if this bothers someone, just skip on by!

I couldn’t have said it better myself @Xivambala . This is a place to vent.

As for skipping on by. Now why would they do that. Then they wouldn’t have any way to get their aggression out. It's easy behind the keyboard.

Just when I think I have heard it all!  I haven't.

Will spend the freezing day indoors pondering ways around moving from leg to leg.  All I got so far is: Stand still! Woman Embarassed

Good Lord, seriously?  You can purchase online and not have to see the models move their leg. When annoyed--tv remote changes the channel.

I have a feeling I know what most posters will say their "pet peeve" is.

@Imaoldhippie   Yep.

And 'new'...I wonder. I have other thoughts on that...

Re: Models movement

[ Edited ]

I noticed this uptick in movement as well. It's not the usual slow turn and hold where you can see how an item looks from all sides, how it flows, etc.

I'm petite, so I need to figure out how an item on a taller model would probably hit me.

But the quick, constant movements, turning afer 2 seconds,  kicking the leg out, all of this is constant.

This takes away, at least for me, seeing the item's-fabric, print, flow, length, other things that are particular to me that I usually can see.

 the fast turning, hold for a few seconds, turn again,  and so on. Even arm movements seem to fly out and in quickly, it's hard to judge a top, pant, dress, outerwear and shoes.

I'm sure they've been coached to do so, like a few years ago the beauty models suddenly started with the tongue in and out of the teeth frequently. A few still do it.

All the  models are lovely with good personalites, it's their job to do whatever Q requires.

Maybe the new fast movements and turning is more noticable for me because I'm 4'10' and lightweight, so I have to be super inspector, even when I'm purchasing from other places whether online, or in store (which I rarely do).

Please don't go by me, these are my particular needs and experience.

The hosts should use a long POINTER to show the various details.    Or maybe they should just have a cardboard cutout instead of a model...

 Don't move!  Don't turn!  Don't leg lift!  Don't bend!  Do not talk!  And for goodness sake, do not ever head nod!

People get 'annoyed' at the most ridiculous, petty, inconsequential things!!!!

Why doesn't QVC just have photographs in different angles.  This way nodding, leg over leg, head tossing and breathing wouldn't be a problem for people.
