I buy meatballs from my local/regional grocery Giant Eagle - they're Italian "gourmet" meatballs - delish - in the fresh meat dept - just have to brown them and cook in sauce. After buying these I've never made them again - been buying for years.
Definitely not great! Two words I'd use to describe the meatballs/sauce are plain and generic.

My mom used to make them from scratch. I can actually recall the aroma.......
Even though I have plenty of time now, I still buy frozen meatballs.
Various flavors. Easy.
Better than no meatballs at all.
Hey, wasn't there a song about meatballs?
Or just my imagination. (another song)

@ROMARY This is the song about meatballs that I remember from my childhood.
Sung to the tune of "On Top Of Old Smokey"
On top of spaghetti
All covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball
When somebody sneezed.
It rolled on the table
And onto the floor,
And then my poor meatball
Rolled right out the door.
It wasn't "Just [your] imagination running away with you ..." LOL
I love that song by the Temptations!

Anyone try the Turkey Meatballs? I am having some issues with Beef lately, and find that I can only have it once a week.......

I don't cook. In my entire life, I've never made a meatball from scratch. I would only buy them ready-made.

@San Antonio Gal I do cook, but for the life of me I can't make decent meatballs. I buy them raw from my supermarket's meat section. They're already seasoned and ready to cook. It's my best kept secret. 😉

Yea, weird taste for the meatballs. Kind of a musty flavor. Gag me. Threw them out also.
