Mama Mancini should have meatballs without sauce.  While I like the tomato sauce having no sauce gives me options for other flavors like stroganoff or beef or chicken gravy.

In my entire life, it never once occurred to me to BUY a ready-made meatball...

I didn't think they were anything great actually.  And I prefer Rao or Prego sauce.

I buy meatballs from my local/regional grocery Giant Eagle - they're Italian "gourmet" meatballs - delish - in the fresh meat dept -  just have to brown them and cook in sauce.  After buying these I've never made them again - been buying for years.

most of the food I buy on QVC are presents for people.

Most of my friends and family don't actually need anything and often the good foods offered on QVC are very much appreciated.  I think the most popular of the things that I have given have been the Only Bagels.

I considered the meatballs as a great gift for a busy family..

I bought them at Costco. I liked the sauce, but the meatball was not good. Very odd texture and almost an organ‑meat taste. I threw them away.

I buy Mama Mancini's meatballs at Walmart, $9.42 for 2 pounds, five meatballs and sauce. Mama's are better, less expensive and time-consuming than my homemade.

Yours may be better.

We cut the meatballs in half and get 3 sandwiches. Less expensive than buying 3 subs at a sandwich shop.

I am a life-long food snob, came from a family that wanted only the best.  And great cooks.  I'm a great cook.

However I am an old one and I don't intend to spend my last years making meatballs when meatloaf is as good, cut it up and put it in the pasta.  Round or square it's the same thing.  Also, good ground burger with salsa mixed in it is better meatloaf to me than with crumbs and eggs.  Not above a frozen meatball on lazy days.

Rotisserie chickens, chicken breast in quick soups, frozen meatballs, easier living for me these days.  Following a Mediterranean diet on a simple basis helps so much.  No cheesy fat filled stuff, just good diet made easy!  Whole grains, beans, herbs, veggies, lean meats, lots of non-Asian and not farm-raised fish--but nothing time consuming.  To old, been there done that! Woman LOL You young folks keep on keeping on.

My Walmart does NOT carry Mama Mancini

Only Mama Lucia and Rosina.

Wegman's doesn't carry Mama Mancini either.
