Please offer a choice of either sending our order USP or one of the carriers( UPS or Fed Ex)If my order comes thru Waterford,MI it is usually heled up a week! If it comes through Pontiac, MI it usually comes on time. Unfortunately, I can't make that choice. If I could, I would choose an alternate carrier.

The used to offer choice of carriers - why did they stop?  Maybe going with the cheapest way for them.

I have gotten used to "issues" with shipping--certainly with UPS.  They now have a tendency to mark things "not at home to sign for package" when we know they never stopped here.  We were here all day and cameras don't lie--UPS driver does.

FedEx is nuts.  They buzz up and down the street back and forth several times a day going very fast. Why can't they deliver on a route like the others?  Back and forth, back and forth--must burn a lot of fuel!

USPS is not fastest, but here reliable except for one carrier who did NOT last long!

The mail system in this country seems crazier than ever!   You most likely won't be able to pick your carrier ever again.  It is insane but UPS delivers things to USPS, even amazon pkgs come by US mail sometimes.  In our area DHL delivers to both UPS and USPS.........sometimes trying to track something is next to impossible and frustrating because you really don't know who has the package!!     Just remember to shop early people, it's nuts all year round and Thanksgiving is next week, yikes!!

I don't know why, but this always reminds me of my childhood.   My mother would see something from a local department store in the morning paper, call the store, and by afternoon, the delivery truck came with her order.  That was over 50 years ago.

I know it was all local and wouldn't expect that service for out of state orders, but seeing where packages go after departure just does make sense to me.
