I detest the mail innovations shipping "option". When placing an order it is never made clear that my order will ship using MI until I receive the shipping notification. If I knew the order was going that method, I would opt out of it. Although the tracking is not under QVC's control, it is the main reason for my disgust. The tracking number(s) never work until the item has finally been delivered. QVC often only sends the USPS number and there is always a FedEx MI number associated with it also. Shipping almost always takes longer this way because of the need to transfer the package to the local Post Office for delivery. When tracking has been available, it can take up to three extra days to get to me when the package is sitting in a PO three blocks from my house. QVC. Every major e-tailer has upgraded their shipping methods in the recent past. Surely you can get you shipping department to compete with the rest of the online world. I am not even going to address your "per item" shipping charges. Thank you for allowing me to vent.

I also detest Mail Innovations, for all the reasons you stated. It is simply THE WORST service I think.

I wasn't aware that QVC had started shipping MI. Too bad.

I don't really mind how long it takes. I do mind that the mail lady takes the bag and scrunches it into a ball before she stuffs it in the mailbox.

My regular mail lady is great about delivering my mail to my door, even though we have cluster mail boxes across the street. However, if it's not her delivering, then the mail carrier will cram everything s/he can into the mail box, oft times making it almost impossible for me to get the mail out if there are packages inside. Other than that, I don't have a problem with the mail innovations method.
