...for bringing back a more civil tone to the forums.
I, for one, want to be able to read threads (even if they're sometimes controversial) without seeing them derailed or descending into mud-slinging.
Years ago these boards were fun and informative, then they seemed to be taken over by trolls. I'm glad the new changes were introduced and that, when a post or thread is deleted, you give the reason why.
Well done.

I think it's rather juvenile to have to have moderators so I try to ignore them as much as I can. They definitely are biased.
Perhaps, but when the behavior of some posters is juvenile, moderators become necessary so the entire board isn't ruined for everyone else. JMHO.

I've noticed that those who are very unhappy with the moderation and feel there is a great deal of moderator bias are often deleted and/or frequently participate in or start threads on topics QVC doesn't really want on the forums in the first place. Then they are disgruntled or claim "no fair/bias" while aware of the inappropriateness.

Sorry, I have to disagree. The moderators are completely arbitrary in what they allow or disallow, and are so afraid of controversy they delete or move anything that might possibly offend someone, somewhere.
I'm with Trump on this: Way too much political correctness out there. People jump and tap dance for fear of offending.

So-called 'political correctness" serves a purpose. It gives a person time to think before speaking - something helpful when there may be an issue with impulse control.

Well - it's not about to change. People can complain about it and be unhappy about it, but it's not going to vanish or do a 180. So I would think the alternatives are to accept that it is what it is and deal, continue to complain knowing you're wasting your figurative breath, or find a totally unmoderated, uncensored forum and hang out there instead of on a moderated forum.

I don't see bias.
I see posts that deserved to be deleted and were because they were reported to moderators, and I see reports that should have been deleted but were not because often they are not reported. And I see posts that I didn't think warranted deleting *when compared to what stayed*. But to me that's just the breaks of having human moderators. I'm not going to like all the calls, but scattered calls I don't agree with does not wholesale bias make - especially since we can't know if a post was even reported.

In response to @Moonchilde's last post:
I've seen posts that clearly violated the Standards and I reported them, but the posts were not deleted.
