Luminara soft touch

I heard the presentation this morning for the luminara lanterns and she described the candle as 'soft touch' as though it was an upgrade - we are not stupid -  PLEASE  tell them to go back to the wax surface.  That soft touch I am sure costs less to produce but in some months the outside surface becomes sticky and even washing does not restore it - not to mention that it is cheap, cheap, cheap looking.  Thanks

The soft touch candles are made to go outdoors in the lanterns or covered areas, the wax can't go outside. In the future it would be nice to have a choice between the soft touch & wax if you want to use the lanterns indoors.
