Can you please get with the vendor for the Luminara candles and suggest to them to make the candles electric with timer instead of battery operated. The batteries are so expensive and they have to be changed so often.

If the candles were electric with timer it would be an improvement in my opinion.

Thanks.

I received a set of the luminara candles from my DIL...I know she paid a lot of money for them...but the batteries didn’t last any time at all....one never worked again

Who are you addressing your post to?

I would write to corporate!

EVERY single one of my outdoor Luminara candles has stopped working! Those that I have inside DO NOT have the battery life that was promised.

@crazy4bears

Your suggestion might be best made by:

Calling QVC Customer Service.  They will send a message to the Luminara buyer who might suggest the company make some.

Calling Luminara at 877-905-8646.

Sending Luminara a message on their Facebook page.  See on the right side.

I would do all of the above.

I couldn't agree more;  those things eat batteries like crazy!

Having unsightly wires to plug them in would really limit where they can be placed in your home (only near an electrical outlet).

No thanks.

That is not a bad idea though as one poster stated the wires may get in the way at times.

My suggestion, make a better quality candle !!   I have several and have had a few just stop working and ITA regarding the battery life, especially for the price of them!!

I have 37 (LOL! I had to go count them!) Luminara candles that I've accumulated over 25+ years, different styles, colors and sizes.

Since I have so many, I rotate them from place to place and coordinate them with any occasion which may be coming up.

I have never had a Luminara candle 'die' and need to be thrown out,

I use Energizer batteries in mine and get plenty of enjoyable hours out of them.

Maybe I'm just lucky.....but THAT would be a first, LOL!

The first flameless candle I got from QVC was the angel (Candle Impressions?), and it's still working, as are all I've purchased. I have quite a few, and wouldn't want to have to plug them in.

I alternate the ones I put out, so I'm not replacing so many batteries at once. The one which I do notice does eat those batteries, is the Luminara with the flickering "flame." Still, it's worth it because it looks so real. And the cat loves it lol.

Re: Luminara Candles

[ Edited ]

My favorite flameless candle brand on QVC is Candle Impressions!!  I have several that I have used for years and they still work.  They have a long battery life. I even have some that do not have a timer put away.  What I like about CI is that the light goes all the way through the item...but only on the regular candles.  But on any figural CI candles I have, the lighted area is only in certain areas.  Don't really like that...

Also have several Luminara.  Do like them, but only in certain places in my home. But have to say, have had some that have just died!!
