Why can't every one post under one thread instead of starting their own on the same subject.  Example "Multiple Hosts".

I do look, but sometimes I miss it.  I don't think it's a big deal or issue.  Generally speaking, I don't think most people do it on purpose.  It never bothers me....

@bells4me  I could care less...who are you? The thread police?

Sometimes thread titles are vague and nebulous so a poster may not be aware when creating a new one.

In any event, it doesn't matter to me.

When there has been a "hot topic" there could be a dozen threads across all forums.

You can't control others. Let it go. Life is too short to worry about the small stuff.

Chances are most of them, if not all, will be deleted anyway.

I just did that the other day regarding the death of Stella Stevens. I checked if there was another post and didn't see it, so i posted. When it went thru, there was another post right before mine by 1 minute. Anyhow, what's the big deal? Just don't read it.

The search on here can be hit or miss.  I can't tell you the number of times I have looked for a thread on a certain subject and could not find it.  So, unless you are literally going to check the different forums and scroll down you will likely miss a duplicate topic.

@bells4me I kind of agree with you. As others said, it's not THAT big of a deal but kind of annoying. To me, it's as if the second or third poster of the same topic feels like they may need that extra attention so has to create their own post. That's just how it seems to me. I do pass on by the 2nd or 3rd post, it's not that interesting after the first posting.

I find it usually happens with celebrity news. It seems as if they need to be the first one to post. Again, that's how it comes across to me.

Yes it is annoying, but then some may be new posters and don't know what and how often a topic has been discussed ad nauseum here. For example, if I got a dollar for every thread and post complaining about the hosts drinking wine I'd be a millionaire.
