PLEASE USE OTHER MEASUREMENTS BESIDES 'CUPS'.  Buying packages in the store doesn't say cups, it says pounds or ounces.  Would like to know how many pounds something holds like for dog food, yet you keep saying cups.  Don't know how many 'cups' are in a 20lb bag of dry dog food

@talulah1 It's not possible to accurately give weight measurements vs cups. Some things weigh more than others.  Although I understand how a person might need weight measurements, it's just not possible. Cups are measured by VOLUME and not weight.

@talulah1 I googled how many cups in 20 lbs of dog food:

"A 20 lb bag of dog food contains about 60–80 cups, depending on the brand and type of food."

@talulah1. Cups are the most practical solution for describing L&L capacity.  If done by weight, describing a pounds of lead vs a pound of feather would make a huge difference in the size needed.

Re: Lock and Lock measurments

in my opinion cups can give a better visual of what it holds.
