Live screen pop up box

PLEASE let us X out of the live screen pop up box for the current session we are in....if you X out it keeps coming back over and over again, if I wanted to see it I would click on the link.  It is very intrusive and distracting while trying to comfortably browse through merchandise.  Really very annoying.

The worst offender I encounter over and over again is Microsoft.  The individual retailers are mild in comparison.
