First off, they say to remove any labels that were already on the packages-- Have you tried peeling those stickers off a plastic bag or cardboard- NOT happening!--- So I take a marker to them now- which leaves a lot of black ink all over it.--- Secondly--- why can't you make a sticker that perhaps is attached to a background that WILL peel off so we can attach the return label???? ---

As for return tracking? ALWAYS when I try to check- it says unavailable- EVEN 11 DAYS AFTER I MAILED IT BACK! What's with THAT? then WHAT'S THE POINT????
And - been slacking with the e-mail confirmation on returns as well. After 2 weeks I called and they said OH yeah, we got that back! I DON'T return much- but when I do- I would like to be notified that it got there.

Re: Labels and return Tracking

I totally agree with all of the negatives you have pointed out regarding Q's return process. Most of the time I find out a return has been posted is when I eventually get the e-mail confirming the return. Why do they bother to make this available if it never gives us any worthwhile information.

BTW - the best way to use the plastic bags when making a return is to turn them inside out. You'll never have to black marker the labels again.

Re: Labels and return Tracking

If you use the number below the bottom barcode on the return label and put it into the USPS website "track a package" space, it will show you when the package was accepted at the P.O. and, at least in my area, the tracking is updated every day. Once it is picked up by QVC's "shipping agent", you can no longer track it through the post office - you have to wait until QVC gets around to updating their tracking status, which is pretty slack. There have been a lot of arguments about the P.O. Tracking, and it may be better in some areas than others, but when I use that barcode, I get daily updates. I once got really frustrated because I checked every day, and it took 8 days for my package to be picked up from the post office by the "shipping agent" - Friday to the next Friday - before it actually got on its way back to QVC.

As for the return labels on the plastic bags, I use one of those I.D. ink markers, and then also tape a blank piece of paper over it. I attach my label on top of that.
