Bothersome coughing and throat clearing--allergies? Really not good to hear doing food shows.

Allergy season is in very full swing up here in the Northeast, I can personally attest. Vanessa has had a frog in her throat off and for weeks, SK is always wiping her nose, and I thought Amy had a little rasp the other night.

Also, once that heat starts kicking on more often we (I) get a dry croaky throat and very dry irritated nose until I remember to start to use the humidifiers. I have one even at my desk at the office. Working in warehouse type of scenarios, the hosts don't have that luxury to be near humidity.

Julia has been doing that for months on end.

SK the same thing with her nose.

It is a bad allergy season. Have some patience and compassion.

It's not like people can eat the food after it sits under hot lights.

JMO...When hosts are "on air" giving live presentations, they should practice their best personal habits (i.e., sneeze off to the side, use a tissue, keep water handy if you have a cough, don't wipe your nose while presenting, don't snort like a farm animal, etc.).  Julia and Shawn are not well practiced on that count.  Probably why I don't watch either of them.

We have been using Vicks Children's Sinex Saline Spray for our allergies....we found out that using the "children's" strength works better than the adult version...plus use it as often as needed....This stuff works!!!!
