Is this normal?

I ordered something Saturday and Sunday. 5 days later, is it normal for it to still be in process?? Just seems like these days it takes forever to get things.

I also have items ordered Sat and Sun that are still "in process". I have a couple of items ordered the 6th and are supposed to be delivered today. If by UPS they probably will be here. If turned over to USPS it takes an extra day. I try to allow 2 weeks just in case but it does not need that. If I am going away I ask both services to hold all packages until the day after I return. It does seem that orders are taking longer to be processed but once on the road the time is about the same.

I will not take a picture to put in a card and tell the gift recipient their gift is in the mail, as suggested by the hosts frequently. That sounds like my purchase was a last minute thought. I look for special items that I think will be liked. Something that the recipient might not spend the money on. Moms and Dads spend on their children first. It is the recipients special day and they deserve at least 1 special splurge and then some needs.

For some things, yes, that can be 'normal'.

I almost always receive purchases ahead of EDD.

@tamigirl59, you included your order date, but not your estimated date of delivery in your 'suggestion'.

We don't know if your purchase was an advance order, on waitlist, or if there is a payment issue holding things up, among other possibilities. You might start by looking up your EDD.

Ordered 5/6...EDD is 5/15....9 days seems like a long time, but I guess it is what it is. I get things sooo much faster from HSN. Thanks for the input.

@tamigirl59, agreed, that seems like a long time for no progress on an order. You could ask the @QVC Social Team to look into it.

I usually get my QVC Wen orders with standard shipping in 3 days or less! Most other orders from Q arrive within a 4-7 day window, but some seem glacially slow.

Many times I have items in process that long. My QVC items sit in processing longer than it takes for me to receive items from almost every other site I order from. Just another reason I often look to other places for the same items. When I got tired of their shipping being so slow, I looked around and found the exact same items with free shipping other places. If they had given better service, I wouldn't have found out how much more they charge for the items, and for their shipping. QVC has excessive shipping charges, and about the worst shipping time around! I don't use easy pay, so that isn't a draw for me.

I don't think it is normal. I had an item go back and forth through 3 states before it got to me. I finally call the post office and received it within two days. It had gone through 15 different tracking scans, so that was on USPS. However I too have had items sit in processing a little too long, then shipped out on the EDD date. One was ordered on the 5th and didnt ship out until 5/11. That is on QVC

I have an order in processing that's been there for a week. It's just a regular order, nothing special. In that time from ANY other place I would have received the order. I don't understand why QVC takes so long for that stage.

I placed an order on 5-6 and it shipped today 5-12. It doesn't seem like it should take 6 days to ship. If it comes USPS all they way it is here in a couple of days but if it is sent UPS it will take another week.
