A number of years ago....I worked with a really nice guy who liked to joke around with the gals...once in a while making slighty off color comments ...and most of us knew it was just for fun....and said nothing....then one day he did it to someone who didn't like it...he was reported...and immediately fired...
Now he had worked there for lots of years...had a wife and kids...and was now unemployed...as someone else said...not everyone likes that type of talk...he found out the hard way...
I don't watch this host or much of the Q. any more...so I didn't hear what happened last night....but I have seen her in the past..as well as some of the others..and find them very unprofessional ...they need to realize they come into many living rooms with all kinds of people watching including children...best to keep your converstions at a professional level...

@SharkE wrote:One of the rudest things I ever saw was Bob trying to trick Mary Beth into drinking alcohol beverage using the ninji. Woman has her religious values and was on to him trying to get her to sip some kind of concoction he had made up . She would smell it first and put it down and pick up a fruit drink.
It seemed to irk him that he couldn't trip her up.
I lost respect for him after that. David, would had never done something like that.
I'm not real big on the Q selling wine in first place.
I didn't see the presentation with Mary Beth and Bob, but that is not funny at all. I have seen on Mary Beth's blogs that she does not drink alcohol. Ever. Trying to trick her is not in the least bit nice or funny.
With that said, I don't mind that they sell wine. We belong to a wine club that ships every month.

Words are just words. They mean different things to different people, different languages, different countries, etc.
How they are said is what is important. My Italian father who spoke only English at home would often use Italian profanity so we didn't understand it. However, we knew it was bad because of the way he said it.
If I drop something, I may say "Oh [expletive]" which would be entirely different than if I said to someone angrily "[Expletive] you!

Yes they do, but this is does not happen, this is up to QVC . Employer hired, employer knows how much each host produce so it's not for this forum to push for some decision. But nice try specialy every Monday and Tuesday.

I didn't see it because I completely stopped watching Monday, Tuesday, Friday (and pretty much every) night. I will just say I personally don't like the direction the Q is going and I don't find the antics of the hosts amusing. I know I don't matter to the Q because I am just 1 person and that is my opinion, but I used to enjoy watching and have an occasional LOL moment. Now I just shop online, but much less than I did a few years ago.

There once was a host, with blond hair, wore flat shoes and casual dress. She was cute and somewhat humble with an energetic personality. I wonder where she went. She could sell me anything.

I just saw Renee whatever her name is from Women With Control, "handling" the models, showing how her jeans pulled them in and up. She even said to Jackie, "I hope I'm not tickling you". The other model was doing an "in and up" slightly thrusting gesture, followed by the vendor having the models hold their shirts up while encouraging them to wiggle while the camera was right on their backsides. I really don't that kind of thing is necessary. I don't like how she ends her segments with the dancing either.
