many of the comments/wants/opinions on here and on other social media would not be profitable

Not to mention that I would guess 90% of the people participating here or on FB are in the same age, work status, most likely similar income ranges, etc.

The only consistent difference is geographic. That is the last thing a company wants for any kind of focus group.  Any kind of statistical analysis must have varied demographics to be valid.

QVC has millions of viewers, but not so many QVC forum posters.

The comments on these boards are only capturing the options of a few.  And, of those posters on the boards, there are the same, even fewer people who keep up with the same complaints over and over again.

So, when you look at the complete picture, I doubt they take these complaints and suggestions seriously.

The comments on Facebook are very similiar to this forum.  It's not just this forum that has these complaints.

I know that and the same comments apply.  QVC Has millions of watchers, but only a few of them are on QVC social media....the forums and FaceBook and the same old people are complaining.

No matter what QVC or the hosts do, they will find something to complain about.

I got a survey from QVC yesterday, wanted to know how I felt about the prices, quality, shipping, etc.

Hopefully more customers will respond to this survey if they get it.

@deeva - I have been shopping with QVC since 1989, and have never gotten a survey.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

financials don't stand alone. Everything they do or don't do, sell or don't sell, affects the bottom line.

@CalminHeart

No financials don't stand alone but @Desertdi made a succinct and accurate post.

The gripes on these forums may well affect the bottom line. I've experienced many of those gripes over the years which is why Q has lost most of my business.

Re: If QVC Would Read…

[ Edited ]

I got an email yesterday asking about what I thought about certain items I purchased.  I've been a customer since the '80s when they started out as CVN before they changed their name and this is the first survey I've gotten.  I would like to actually comment on their program changes over the years.  I wish QVC would go back to programming like it was years ago.  I really want to know all the particulars of an item so I can make an informed decision on whether I want to purchase the item.  Please leave the chitchat to the end after you've given the important information on the item.  I've not purchased many items (especially clothing) because the host did not adequately cover the colors, fabric content and care, the fit of the item, etc because the host was too busy talking about family, celebrities, their worldly trips and the like.  And, as a medical professional, please tell hosts not to give out health info that at times has been misleading or could cause injury.  Do you have medical advisors?  I miss some of the senior hosts who did an outstanding job and I will really miss Mary Beth when she leaves.  I wish her the best life!
